ABOUT CLOSERTYPE

About CloserType

What we cover

CloserType focuses on attachment responses, mixed signals, conflict and repair, values, and breakup recovery. We do not claim to read another person's mind from one behavior; articles separate observable patterns from interpretation.

How articles are made

Each article starts with a specific reader problem. We look for traceable primary research, government material, universities, and professional organizations, then list sources at the end.

How to use the quizzes

Our editors create self-report reflection tools from publicly available relationship-psychology concepts. They are not clinically normed scales, diagnoses, or substitutes for qualified individual assessment.

Who is responsible

CloserType Editorial Team plans, writes, and maintains the site. We do not currently claim clinical professional review. Named professional reviewers and qualifications will be shown when applicable.

Corrections and feedback

Report a broken source, factual concern, or unclear wording to hello@closertype.com. We will recheck the material and update the page when a correction is needed.
